Annapurna Base Camp Trek || Cost || Height || Time to Trek

One of the most popular hikes in Nepal is the Annapurna Base Camp. This is a Class B or a slightly difficult walk. So, even if you have no experience before, anyone fit individual may accomplish this trek. It is much easier and shorter than other high-altitude climbs in Nepal. You should know what to expect and prepare for it mentally. Then you can, as long as you dare. The walk includes a variety of landscapes, culture and animals. In addition to the stunning views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli and Dhaulagiri.

The Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is also known as the ABC Trek since you walk along the path along the protected region. The trip can be seen as much as an entertaining ecclesiastical trip. This is seen as one of the world's most beautiful shrines, conserving not only the land's floral and fauna but also the natural environment and local ethnic culture. You may discover and experience the local ethnic traditions of Gurung and Magar in tiny towns and villages during the journey. Seated at (4,130m/13,549ft) altitude. The Shrine is an oval platform surrounded by a ring of the mountains of Annapurna. Due to its uniqueness, it offers a healthy Himalayan habitat, composed of lush forests and dryer terrains. You may also meet Thakalis, who have sloping settlements at the foot of the Annapurna Himalayas while you walk through the elegant routes decorated with rhododendron canopies.

The trekking track, which encounters minor tasks and goombas, is a serene tour of unique cultures that transports you to another time. Gliding farms and rice fields on the terrace are typical places for trekking, while thick bamboo forests and pine woods make the trip a getaway from the busy city. Annapurna Base Camp is the most important hiking destination, commonly known as the Sanctuary Trek, In the rural settlements, in its pristine shape, combined with stunning views of the mountain range, against blue skies, it's a walk towards the immense amphitheater surrounded by a strong wall of snow-capped peaks, the base camp of Annapurna.

We'll begin our journey in Nayapul/birethanti, a town about an hour's drive from Pokhara. We travel through the rice terraces to Tikhedhunga/ulleri along the rushing Modi river. We remain there overnight to recuperate our batteries before continuing on our walk to Ghorepani, where you can visit the villages and mingle with the locals to gain an understanding of their way of life and culture. It's a bit more difficult walk, but you'll be rewarded with spectacular vistas of the Annapurnas, Machhapuchhare, and Hiunchuli, as well as Dhaulagiri, our first summit.

The next morning, we make our way to Poon Hill to witness the famous sunrise over the snowcapped Himalayas. From Poon Hill, we travel to Tadapani, then Chomrong, and eventually to Annapurna Base Camp, where we can see glaciers and mountain ranges ranging from Hiunchuli to Annapurna I (8,097m/26,566ft), Gangapurna, Khangsar Kang, Annapurna III, and Machhapuchhare. Then we make our way back to Nayapul, passing through bamboo on the way. We make a pit break at Jhinu Danda to soak in the natural hot springs. Our trek comes to an end, and we return to Pokhara by car.

The Annapurna Base Camp trip is not extremely difficult, but it is unlike any other journey in terms of scenery, which contributes to its popularity. This is just a 6-7-day trip, but for those who don't have that much time and are prepared to push themselves a little, we also have a & days Annapurna base camp trip, which gives you the same experience in less than a week!

Best Time to Trek

Pre-monsoon months to trek to Annapurna base camp are February, March, April, and May. If you want to trek after the monsoon, we recommend late September, October, November, and December. Early September is also an option, but we prefer the months stated above. February, March, November, and December are our personal favorites. It is possible to get to Annapurna Base Camp in January. However, the region can be a little colder further up, with temperatures ranging from -10°C/14°F to –15°C/ 5°F. Remember that snow can fall on the trail at any time of year. If you plan on trekking to Annapurna Base Camp during these months, you will undoubtedly require warmer clothing. The weather will be more difficult to deal with throughout the winter months.

Camping Accommodation

Annapurna Base Camp Camping Trek accommodation is done by climbers planning to climb Mt Annapurna, and these types of accommodation are generally done in remote areas and regions where there are very few teahouses and other accommodation facilities, such as while trekking in Dhaulagiri, Dolpa, Kanchenga, and a few others, where tents are used for accommodation and cooking staff is carried for cooking food and many crew members a Though camping is incredibly attractive near the Annapurna base camp, it is usually avoided due to the ease of access to teahouses and lodges/hotels.

Difficulty

One of the most accessible hikes in the Himalayas is our Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Most people in normal physical condition will be able to accomplish this trip without difficulty, and no prior trekking experience is required. This walk does, however, reach heights higher than 4,000 meters, so drink enough fluids and get enough rest to allow your body to acclimate to the higher elevation naturally. Your guide, as always, will keep an eye on your progress and ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable hike to Annapurna Base Camp.

Visa
Traveling to Nepal is simple for visitors from all over the world; however, all visitors require a visa, with the exception of Chinese and Indian tourists. Obtaining a visa for Nepal is similarly simple; you can obtain an ARRIVAL VISA at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Regardless, you must enter Nepal within six months of receiving your visa. Beginning on the day you enter Nepal, your total stay is calculated. Visa Fees, aside from the tourist visa procedures, there is a price you must pay in Nepal, which is roughly 40 USD for a 30-day tourist visa to the forefingers, with the exception of Chinese and Indian citizens. Tourists with Indian or Chinese passports would be granted visa-free entry into Nepal.
