Asus announced the latest edition of its ROG Strix Scar series at CES 2021, complete with a redesigned design, Ryzen 5000 mobile processors, and RTX 30 mobile GPUs. The Scar 15 is the first of the new gadgets to be made available in Nepal. The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 2021 is slightly smaller than its predecessor. The dot matrix design on the laptop's aluminum lid is visible. The optical keyboard on the Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (2021) uses infrared lasers for faster response and less debounce latency. The keys have a 1.9mm travel distance, and the caps are gently curved. To keep your fingers cool, Asus has also added CoolZone technology around the WASD keys.
In terms of performance, the Scar 15 is equipped with a Ryzen 9 5900HX processor that runs at up to 4.6GHz. The processor, which is based on the new Zen 3 architecture, has eight cores and twice the thread count.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 mobile graphics card is also included. The GPU can run at 1645MHz and 115W with ROG Boost. Dynamic Boost boosts the GPU's power output by 15 watts. This gaming laptop comes with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB PCIe SSD for storage.
Liquid metal is used in the new cooling system, which provides more thermal headroom. Six heat pipes, four heat sinks, 0.1mm copper fins, and four fan outlets are included.
The Scar 15 (2021) has a 90Wh battery that can last up to 12.2 hours of web browsing on a single charge. In just 33 minutes, a suitable 100W converter can charge the iPhone from zero to fifty percent. Four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports (1x Type-C + 3x Type-A), one HDMI 2.0b port, one Ethernet port, and one audio combo jack are available. It supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless networking.
